Extension of validity of passports

1.    Duly completed Application O-IM37
2.    Present Passport of Applicant
3.    One passport size photograph
4.    Applicant must personally lodge / handover or send by mail, the application along with the required supporting documents.

The passport can be renewed up to 10 years.
One  (01) Year         - JPY 300
Two  (02) Years       -  JPY 600
Three (03) Years     -  JPY 900
Four (04) Years       -  JPY 1,200
Five (05) Years        -  JPY 1,500
In addition to the above charges, the postage of JPY 800 is required to be paid.

Note:
•    Requests by post should be made with a self-addressed, stamped envelope.
•    Photocopies of the above documents should be provided by the applicant to the Embassy.
