Sri Lanka Festival 2007, May 26 -27 2007 in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo

Sri Lanka´s famous ´Channa-Upuli´ dance troupe performed the traditional ´pooja dance´ during the oil lamp ceremony. The fourth annual Sri Lanka Festival themed ´Experience Nature´s Best´ was held on May 26-27 weekend at the Yoyogi Park in Tokyo with the attendance of over 100,000 visitors, both Japanese and non-Japanese. The Festival was organized by the Sri Lanka Embassy in Tokyo with the support of Japanese and Sri Lankan organizations and the business community. It featured over 105 stalls selling a range of Sri Lankan products including Sri Lankan food, tea, ayurveda treatment and handicrafts.
